OMRC Moose Plate Grant - Press Release

The Town of Epsom was excited to receive generous support with the restoration of the Old Meetinghouse in Epsom. The Old Meetinghouse Revitalization Committee (OMRC) is moving forward to complete the restoration of this historic landmark and providing a community space for Epsom residents as well as surrounding communities.

Thanks to the NH State Council for the Arts three of the eight stained glass windows have been repaired and reinstalled. In 2019, the Town of Epsom was awarded a grant from the NH State Council for the Arts Moose Plate Grant, in the amount of $17,940, for work needed on the Old Meetinghouse’s stained glass windows. The contract was awarded to Sash and Solder of Portsmouth, NH, who has performed work on the restoration of stained glass windows at the State House. Work was completed in March and the windows were reinstalled in April. Grant proposals for the additional windows to be repaired are in the works.
