Moose Plate Grant

On behalf of the Town of Epsom and the Epsom Old Meetinghouse Revitalization Committee (OMRC), we would like to share great news for our community!

Earlier this year, the  Town of Epsom received another well appreciated grant from NH State Council for the Arts Moose Plate Grant, in the amount of $9,225 to complete the work on Epsom’s Old Meetinghouse stained glass windows.  The windows are over 120 years old and are an integral part of the historic town owned building. With the continued generous support from the NH State Council for the Arts, the OMRC is able to continue to move forward to complete the restoration of this treasured landmark and community space for Epsom and surrounding communities.

NH’s Sash and Solder has done extensive restoration work on the stained glass windows over the past few years.  Their work makes the stained glass windows not only stable and usable, but restores their beauty for the next 100 years.  The committee is currently seeking additional funding through grants, fundraisers and donations to complete the renovations and repairs to be able to utilize this historic community building.

We look forward to sharing our progress in the upcoming year!  If you wish to see the great work done on the building, please check out the Town of Epsom’s website:  www. epsomnh.org.
